THE HOLE lands a publisher

Blog

I am thrilled to announce that my first novel, THE HOLE, has landed a publisher and will be coming to bookstores courtesy of the terrific folks at Permuted Press.  Permuted is the premier small press publisher for zombie and apocalyptic fiction, so it’s a perfect fit for the end-of-the-world adventures of THE HOLE.  These guys do amazing work, and were long time sponsors of the serialized version of the novel, so I’m quite excited to be working with them to get THE HOLE out as an honest-to-goodness print book.

This is excellent news! Congrats! I got signed with Permuted last November after releasing my novel trilogy, The Zombie Chronicles, as a free podcast novel.

To see that they are doing it again with someone else who serialized their work gives other writers hope that giving your work away for free isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Thanks, James, and congratulations to you, too. When Permuted made the offer, I asked around to some of their authors about experiences with them and the response was entirely enthusiastic. The Permuted family looks to be a great one to be a part of.

And it definitely is cool that Permuted is so friendly to serial writers. I hope this encourages more authors to give serializing a try, since it's such a fun way to go about writing a novel.
