Aaron, there are several solid nails here that you hit on the head. New music, new tastes, new sexual expressions are not just new and contemporary, they respresent, in the conservative mind, decline -- terrible, morally corrupt, foundations-of-civilization cracking decline. Kudos on simplifying the complicated debate. Of course, there is always a very basic emotional core to all of it. Fear. Fear of rapid change. Fear of the unknown.
